When Forbidden, a marketing and HubSpot specialist agency, needed content for their clients, they came to Wordsmiths.
We know their MD, having worked for him in our previous professional lives, so Forbidden knew they could trust the Wordsmiths team to deliver.
We’ve written a range of content for Forbidden’s clients. We supported a client who wanted to improve their reputation and augment their website using blog content. This niche financial services company needed to refine their ideas for blogs before they were written, so we facilitated a workshop to identify relevant topics which they were able to prioritise. We then worked with the client’s in-house experts to understand what content was needed in each blog before writing them.
We also created a tone of voice and accompanying guide for another client. We used the nifty VoiceBox kit to host a hands-on workshop to generate involvement and buy-in from the client’s wider team. Producing a clear and easy to implement report means the client now has clarity on its unique voice and how the wider team can start to use it.
Ash Collyer, managing director of Forbidden, said: “We know Wordsmiths well and choose them because of their depth of expertise and breadth of knowledge.
“We can partner on projects like the tone of voice workshop, where we added insight into target personas and positioning to supplement the process. But we can also task the team to crack on and deliver what’s needed for our clients.
“We couldn’t employ someone with the skills and experience of the Wordsmiths team, and partnering means we get the best expertise without the overheads, while having the capability to win bigger projects with extra copywriting elements.”
